Balkov Abbey

All stuff related to season one specifically

Postby Arisu on Fri Nov 16, 2007 2:21 am

*sigh* i hardly remember season 1 too ^^;
i've actually been to most of the countries that they visit... i vaguely recall thinking something when i was watching them about land marks and stuff... i just can't remember what, and what it was about XD

actually i think i've always been baffled by how quickly they travel everywhere...
and it's always confused me why Kai's family's in Russia... but he's in Japan... and why they never worked some cultural puns and stuff into the anime (it may be different in the manga?) for example, Max being American... usually when they have an obvious geijin in an anime/manga they put in something to point fun at them ^^;

or are they all Japanese, they just happen to live in other countries?
that's the other thing... they can all speak the same language... and they're what, 14? ^^;
i'm not really bothered, there are other anime's that are a LOT worse for this ^^; but yeah, it's just... a point ^^;
LOVE THE CHEESE!
but not to the degree that it goes off >.<

Wow, you're well travelled then o_o;

Haha, I noticed the language thing too, mostly. I was jealous, I only know about two or three languages xD
I mean, French, Russian, Chinese, American, Austrian, sheesh!

or Austria actually... but i've been to Germany ^^;
and i've yet to visit mainland China... but i will! just you wait *prays* ^^; (i've been to HK)
i >have< been to Japan, France, NY..... *cant think where else they go* ^^;
do they go to Amsterdam? i've been there! XD and other places, but lets not go into that ^^;

lol, yep! and at such a young age! O.O
(though i have spoken to 14 year olds who are practically fluent in Ukraine, Russian, English, Japanese and nearly French... ¬_¬)

aha, well they did Russia fairly well, if I do say so myself ^^
Let us know what mainland China's like!
o_o you've been to a lot of places...Europe's so fun xD

I guess I can see where the age factor isn't a huge deal, I mean, at least for people, say, in Germany. They grow up in school learning a whole bunch of languages, I mean even Latin in included in their curriculum. ^^; I learned a couple of years of German, a little bit of Ukranian, because it's really easy for me... :tyblade: :oliveru:

yeah, well... i live in England, so getting to central Europe is pretty simple for me. and my dad would travel a lot with his work, so i was very lucky ^^;

well... they >do<
but... that doesn't mean to say every German person knows those languages... i went to a school where they taught Latin compulsory... luckily for me i didn't have to take it though because i was doing my GCSEs (where you get to chose your subjects to some degree)
but i was in classes for French for over 5 years, and German for one and... i honestly couldn't have a conversation with anyone in it...
i feel my Japanese is better... but again... couldn't have a conversation... unless it was very simple and about the weather XD

Bladers Forever field trip to Russia! :D
Anyone? Anyone? ...
And we can eat lots of ethnic food!

I would like to travel to a real abbey and see what it looks like from the inside with my own eyes!
Beyblade taught me a lot about the world, which is sad that the classroom never did.
Euphoria... I can't take anymore of it!
