XD the first guy looks like a cross of daichi and...Johnny XD second guy, no idea, third, actually he reminded me of Ivan. I think it was the goggle things he has...other wise maybe Kai. The lastest one reminds me of...Joseph XD XD yeh, my impressions of these bad boys lol * i think I prefer the name Ivan to Ian, I like the name Ivan XD*

In the four chapters with scans on Beyblade Spirit - does anyone here check regularly? - nine characters have so far been introduced, including the one who appears only in a flashback.

So! For those who don't visit BBS on a regular basis, here's a character rundown, partially my impression of the character and partial summary of their respective pages on BBSpirit:

Hagane Ginga - Main Lead; owns Pegasis 105F; laidback sort who does whatever he feels like doing; looks up to and draws strength from his father, Ryuusei, particularly during his battle with Ryuuga.

Yumiya Kenta - Ginga's best friend; likes having battles with his other friends; gets scared easily (seems like it, anyway); owns Sagittario 125S

Hokuto - Appears at first as a figure in a long cloak, but later reveals that he is actually a dog. Loyal to the Hagane company, and has the ability to speak. Owns the blade Libra DF125BS.

Hagane Ryuusei - He shows up only in Ginga's flashback (and maybe Hokuto's as well) near the beginning of Chapter 4. He was the one who taught Ginga how to Beyblade. He fought Ryuuga when Ginga was younger and lost. He died in a rockslide that occured because of the attack on the volcano instigated by "Dark Nebula" led by Ryuuga. Has a personality similar to Ginga's (or vice versa, since Ryuusei is older).

Benkei - The MFBB counterpart of Nobuo and Hiruta/Carlos from the first season, he's the bully of the Face Hunters (MFBB version of Shell Killer D8 ); owns Bull 125SF

Tategami Kyouya - leader of the Face Hunters; seems cynical; owns Leone 145D; ends up befriending Ginga.

I'm a total idiot. I noticed only now that I'd put in seven instead of nine characters. Anyway, the other two are:

Busujima - another member of "Dark Nebula", he won't hesitate to resort to low means of victory, such as launching his blade at a sleeping Ginga. He owns Escorpio WD145B

Ryuuga - So far Ginga's ultimate rival; takes pleasure in terrorizing bladers; is the reason Ginga's father died; worshipped (?) by the rest of the "Dark Nebula" organization; owns L Drago 105F

Thank you for posting this list of characters. ^^ If you check BB Spirit, you can now see what the anime versions of some of the characters look like. I like how Ginga's been drawn for the anime better than the manga style.

According to Beyblade Spirit, the airing started 4/5/09.
Pretty recent, I'm glad I came back to see that a new season has started.
Its weird -- but I feel like I grew out of Beyblade, but maybe I can relight this fire.

I tried watching anime like Battle B*Damon and Bakugan because they remind me of Beyblade, but I just feel too old for it. Bah.
