Click here to see mini-scans from of the characters. Anyone in this forum who guessed there were going to be clones of some sort, you're kinda sorta right! It's worrying, though, that these new guys can be described in terms of the original cast...

Warning: character design is kind of similar to Duel Masters... and its written and drawn by one of the artists for that manga series, too... Takafumi Adachi if memory serves correct. Aoki-sensei isn't in charge of it anymore! o.O I don't know whether to be apalled, overjoyed, or saddened at this... new style... gah...

I love the comments about the bladers that own Bull and Sagittario, respectively. XD

Oh, for those who want to know when the manga will be released, it has been announced in a recent issue of Corocoro comic (still under Shougakukan) that the Beyblade series will start being published in its October issue. Click for a peek at the 'announcement'.

They're on a devArt journal, Lily. Just because an image is on a dA journal, it doesn't always mean that its fanart; that's stereotyping... :kaiwe:

Did you even check the second link I provided? If you haven't, the scan is taken from (and I quote myself) "a recent issue of Corocoro comic" - probably published sometime this month. If you look close enough, you'll see the silhouette is obviously Ginga's the first guy in the devArt journal your skeptical of.

Tch. Why am I wasting my time explaining all this? Feh.

They look like manga scans to me but i trust Oneechan so it's from the manga until i see or get a copy.

Well excuuuuuse me for having some healthy skeptism xD I'm not doubting your word; it's just very common for people to try to fake everyone out with their own edits whenever a new season/game version is announced.

Hn. Lily, I know there are people capable of doing that - emulating a certain art style and all that - but take a closer look at the scans. Dunno 'bout you, but most look like they were taken off a magazine cover. *shrug* But whatever.

I'm a little sad that Aoki-sensei is not drawing the manga but we shouldn't write these characters off yet. They might have great personalities. We'll have to see what they're like once manga is released and the anime airs.

and others. I don't know what the person designing these characters are thinking with that purple-haired guy. He's ugly and he has a weird nose >_> alot of fans are shippers, and he's no picnic.

And yes, Beyblade has always had some uggos, (1st season Tyson, Gao, Dunga) *shivers* but none of them were the main character (cept Tyson) and they fixed him in the 2nd and 3rd seasons. They should know better than to go backwards now.

Oh! And I guess we'll be getting a new additon to the Seasons forum part. ^_^

I agree. I see the slight resemblence. If you go to the Beyblade Spirit site, you'll see that manga scanalations have been posted from the first volume of Metal Fight Beyblade.
