I'll give that a listen, too. You're helping me so much, haha, I was really like "umm...well half my friends in America won't understand Russian songs.."

The date in August you guys heard about is for the new series of Beyblades. They will be made completely out of metal and if you look on the website beywiki.com you'll see some pictures. They look really cool! The new line of blades is called Metal Fight Beyblade and I'm hoping like all of you that the anime will still have Tyson, Kai, Ray, Max and the gang - I'm not ready for the new generation either nor their kids!

The anime will air in Japan at the start of 2009, probably in January. In 2010, the worldwide distribution of blades will begin. I got this info from beywiki.com so I hope this helps!

Hey, if anyone has time - and the cash - and won't mind not being able to join the activities, there will be two separate launching events to celebrate the new line of 'blades.

On July 12 and 13, the first event will be held in Tokyo, at the Makuhari Stadium or something (couldn't make out the rest of the kanji ^^;). The highlight will be the "Gan-gan Stadium Beyblade Challenge", where the winner will recieve a special character blade 'hontai' and 'raito' launcher (dunno if that's supposed to be 'light' or 'right' =P ).

The second launch event will be on July 21 and held at the Sapporo Dome. This time, the highlight is a Point Battle Challenge. This time, the three highest scoring participants will be chosen to recieve pretty much the same prize as the kid in the Tokyo event.

Haha! I'm imagining Blader DJ (who voiced himself aka DJ Jazzman in the anime) already! xD

...I've a feeling they're holding the launch event a month early so that more people will show up, and more kids will participate. I mean, the prizes include a character Beyblade for crying out loud. *sigh* I feel the way I did when I was offered a participant's ticket to the Asian finals a few years back... *pout* Oh, well...

I could give to get a character blade..But if it depends who anyway. If it's either any of the 'Borg blades then I will ask my mom to give me the cash she owes to fly myself to Japan and get myself a blade, disguise myself as a samurai/ninja/delivery noodleman and sneak in to steal the blade, run from the Japanese government, hide myself in solitude, change my identity and pack my bags and have a 2nd husband with 3 kids and 6 cats!!

Thank you, Blitzer! I'm sure the fourth season is true since the website that said it had been confirmed is a very reliable and up-to-date source of info for anime. I agree - they should bring back Bryan, Spencer and all the other original characters from G-revolution.

These events sound great! If you get any more news about Beyblade in Japan or how these activities go, please let us know Kei-san. Thanks!

Of course! ^^

I shall remember to ask my Nihongo sensei if she's interested in this sort of stuff. Hopefully she is, because then I can ask her for news. :P

If not, I can always cruise around the Japanese websites, hunting down news tidbits. ^^

Yeah...

And ohmigosh. I just found out that one of my friends is going to Japan this August! o__o Apparently, she's going to finish her studies there. Not surprising, seeing as she's pure Japanese (who strangely enough does not have a Japanse accent when speaking Filipino).

Okay, another likely 'news source', but that doesn't change the fact that I'm going to miss her terribly.... *sigh*

Like my friend who went to Hokkaido to finish learning Japanese there. Parting is such a pain.

That it is.

'course, there was that so-called friend of mine (Emily) who, well... Let's just say I'm glad we don't meet up anymore. I mean, all she ever talked about was how badly she was treated by her classmates and how her family constantly had financial problems. At first it was okay, but when we went our separate ways in high school, the only times I'd get a phonecall from her was when she needed money for something - and needed it quick.

In hindsight, she was, in a word, a leech - emotionally and financially.

...man, now I miss my friends from home even more...

I don't really have to miss mine since they have the habit of popping into my house all the time...
