Have a good one everyone! I'm off to Japan in March and I hope to buy the new Metal Fight Beyblade manga and some other Beyblade stuff.

I definitely will! I'm going to visit Buddhist temples and Shinto shrines, go to karaoke bars, ride the Bullet train and do lots of other exciting things. I've always wanted to go and now I've got the chance thanks to my college and my Japanese teacher! I'll try and post some photos on here if I can in a new thread. Has anybody else got something they're looking foward to this year?

Happy 2009, everyone!

And that is so cool! I'm planning to head to Japan in April this year, as part of a study tour (which will be credited to my course schedule - hello, minor in Jpaanese Studies). Here's hoping I was accepted into the program. =) I'm really looking forward to the homestay at the start of the tour - I'm almost tempted to ask if I can be assigned to a family who's got a grandfather teaching kendo. XD Or any of the martial arts, for that matter.

I'll have to get my own camera - or borrow one from my aunts - if I do get to go on the trip, though...

I got a new workout outfit (all black, woo~!), the movie "Hamlet", a new document case, two new tops (one black, one dark gray), a skull chain wallet (thank you Rei-kun!), and cash. :P We have the same problem with relatives, Blitz.

Oh, and I also got a handbag hanger, strangely enough. I don't even own a lot of handbags. ^^;

I got lots of anime DVDs and books. ^^ Oh, and some make up stuff.

My teacher for Japanese told me he's having difficulties getting an affordable price for the trip and that it might be cancelled. I'm really hoping it isn't! He said that if it can't go ahead, he'll try and arrange a trip for next year - which it isn't so bad. It'd be disappointing if it turned out that they both didn't happen!

Aw, I hope it isn't cancelled either D: prices go down!

I got slippers, a necklace, an oil burner, a Bionicle, loads of stripy and decorated socks, a Playstation 2, some games for it...

:P can't remember it all cause that was like 2 months ago lmao.
