I just read Eoin Colfer's "The Supernaturalist" and i stumbled upon a russian character named Stefan Bashkir. His character description?
"He had a charismatic figure. About eighteen, with haunted features. His jet-black hair stood in unruly spikes, and a pink scar stretched frm the corner of his mouth, giving the impression of an impis grin, an impression that did not match the pain in his eyes.
Eyes that were blue, but to Cosmo seemed blacker than outer space. It was obvious that Stefan was the leader of the little group. It was in his nature. The way he slouched in the chair, the way Ditto turned to him, even when the Bartoli man was 7 years older"
Reminds ya of a certain slate haired hottie? What about this simple fact.
His mother died and the only shrivel of comfort he has is always visiting her grave with flowers. The card on the flowers is always the same. The description says "Mother, i miss you more than ever".
And when there is a scene where he is visiting the grave, he remembered on how his mom use to say "Everyone you save is someone's son or someone's mother. When you save them, you save me". He replied on his thoughts saying "If only i could save you. Then everything would be different".
He misses his mom. To bits. Reminds you of a traumatic redheaded child that later grew to an bitter redhead captain of a certain team of handsome gods? (I know. I exaggerate too much but you think it's true anyway right?)

The breeze of the wind
The chill of ice
The flare of fire
