Yeah, I know. But then, we can't jump to conclusions about the entire building. 'sides, he could have been 'roughing it' that time, just for the heck of it. *shrug* Besides, I researched on the interior of Chinese houses since historic times - first empire and all that. Typical layout, even in the countryside, was similar to that of the Japanese, only there's wasn't as elevated. Rather, the layout of the interior of Japanese houses are similar to that in Chinese ones, only the Japanese added elevation.

There. Fidelity to history, since China influenced Japan. =P

Cool. Any purpose to the elevation?

Pretty much against flooding, given locations and stuff. Kinda like the bahay-kubo, only that was against flooding andwild animal attacks.

...and we have strayed off-topic. ^^;

Truth be told, neither do I... ^^;

I'm not sure if this is still on topic or not (even though I started this thread xD; ), but thought I'd share this here.

Never thought I'd see the day when people would be putting together real life Beyblade teams; thought that was a thing of the past. And...yeah, I've been recruited for one. ^^; I find myself a bit ecstatic at this, having like-minded people to share a hobby, and then at the same time I find it amusing for several reasons:

1. There were initially four on the team, then the 'team captain' (essentially the person who first put the team together) got it in her head to recruit me, making five.
2. I'm the only one on the team who is from Asia; the rest are from Northern/North-eastern Europe (provided the data I got from them is all true)
3. I've been designated as the 'fire element' of the team. No clue what help assigning elements will do, but oh well.

Five team members - the number team members on Team Borg/the Demolition Boys during the Black Dranzer Arc, before Kai went back to Team BBA/ the Blade Breakers. All save one are European by birth. And fire.

...yes, I suck, and am most likely desperate for something to talk about. ^^;

I am wondering, though, how on earth we're all going to meet at some point, if training together is going to be on the team itinerary...
