I only see pictures online of Beyblade cosplay (lots-o-girls cosplay Kai). I went to zee Otakon for the first time this summer and saw no Beyblade anything! ;__;
I wanted to buy an uber Beyblade. ^_^;;

Well, Beyblade is getting "old". It's been some time since they aired it, hasn't it? Not too many people are into it anymore, if they are they're moving along the masses - hiding their liking for BB. That's how it goes in here at least >.> I would do for a good example.

Beyblade is my forever favourite anime, but I don't talk about it to any one face-to-face (if it's not the two of my friends who've read my fanfictions and understand who Kai, Ray, Tala and Bryan [and MAYBE the rest of the teams] are). A few times I've been "caught" talking about the series to these friends, and been interrupted with the sentence "Are you talking about Beyblade? You must be joking about something, right? I want to hear too!" (yes, thank you Laura, for interrupting >.>) guess if I continued talking after getting the look I'm-going-to-tell-the-whole-school-that-you're-into-Beyblade! (<- every one laugh at BB fans here where I live [I don't know about McGoth], but yes, I have an ego of my own at school, so I can't bear to be laughed at. T.T)

Yes, I have the same predicament. I only speak of Beyblade to two girls, they are sisters... and no one else knows of them! Beyblades... seriously folks!

There used to be a huge-normous internet fanbase, what happened? All those Beyblade sites went down and only Blader's Forever lives!

I know what you mean!! And the beyblade official site has changed so much, I feel so old looking at it now TT_TT....well, okay, so being 18 and liking Beyblade does make me feel REALLY old, but...shhh.

I only know one girl who likes it as much as me, and who played it with me in tournaments and stuff. *sigh*

Yeah... And there's no one to read or write the fan fictions anymore, and put them up on the Net. That's what I miss the most, I've read SO many awesome fics, but they were left incomplete or with a promise of a sequel, but the authors never came back... T_T

Me too! That's why I think I printed all of Aqua's fanfics...and I'm really happy to read everyone elses!

Hmm... I'm thinking of feeding you one chapter of one of my fics... (let's see if you get hooked like at least three others *ish evil*)

We all should hold a fanfiction contest. ^_^

I'm willing to read anything, really...I really like reading other people's work, I guess it's a habit or something of mine?

I've become quite a difficult reader to please... Sure, I might read something I don't particularly like, but if the text is full of mistakes and hard to read or the characters are completely OOC then I'll stop reading very fast.

:nods: I can agree with that, but...I'm willing to give people a chance, at the least ^^; but like you said, Hamano-chan, I'd get rather annoyed if the characters were OoC or the grammar was unbearable...

Yeah. Though sometimes, a really awesome plot to the fic can make up for some mistakes, but if it's totally crappy... *sigh*

Good thing I'm an English-freak! It comes to me freely, too!

So, plots... romance? Action? Comedy? Horror? Suspense?
I'll take an action plot if that's all it is, no random love fests... sappy stories make me cringe.

Depends sooooo much on the author, and how they write the fics. I like romance fics, but action goes too. And of course we can't count out the ones that are crack XD
