Remember when I mentioned [in passing] my roommates? Well... there's something else in common with Team BBA now aside from attitude/personality: age. The two eldest are the ones closest in mentality and all that... wtf?

In this case, though, I'm the "Rei" of the group, since... well... Fran's the "scary" and "super-serious" one. No joke. She and I are the first ones up (usually). I go about my morning routine while Fran heads for the bathroom, washes up and changes, and is out the door with a gym bag because of training - judo, to be exact.

The difference between Kai and Fran? Fran doesn't mind being surrounded by 'groupies'. A little under a week ago, I found a few of the new boarders in our room, and they were talking with Fran; came in just in time to hear the latter say "Pffft. Quit sucking up; I know you just want my jacket. Now come on, are we going to village plaza or not?" And then the other boarders pretty much answer "Of course," or "Yes!" in chorus. Cue walk-out, with Fran leading the 'pack'.

Would that even be possible in Beyblade? Would Kai or Tala (he just popped in my mind as another candidate for 'groupie attacks') do that? ..........no, don't think so.

My other two roommates... well... Crystal's pretty lively; never a dull moment in the room when she's there. And I don't know why, but she always asks which restaurant I'd recommend if she has a craving for a certain dish. *blink* Uh... right. Like I know all the restaurants here. ^^; Mia can be as lively as Tal (that's Crystal's nickname) and is usually the one urging us to do something together as a group. But here's the clincher - she misses her mom. Bad. If the photo constantly on her desk is any indication. There's one other thing that confirms this, but that would be violation of privacy if I shared it here, so its a no-go. ^^;

Uh... "Tal" is the one who asks which restaurant is best known for which dish (and usually asks me ^^; ); its'Mia who misses her mom - who is currently working in New York. Guess I wasn't as clear as I thought I was. ^^;

They have these phone conversations every other night. I don't overhear 'em; Mia told me sometime ago that most of her phonebill is from chatting with her mom. Or foregoing that, webcam chat. It makes me feel a bit better about being just an hour-and-a-half plane ride away from my family... but at the same time I feel kinda guilty for feeling that way...

Touche. xD And just how eager am I to move to 'my' new apartment when I won't be using it for the year and a half I'm still stuck in college? I was already looking for the 'right' kind of Oriental-inspired sofa bed, in the 'right' shade of green so as not to overpower the neutral beige of the walls?

I was actually hoping to get this other apartment where I could still design the placement of dividing walls and stuff, so I could replace one wall with a sliding door; I was planning to make it look like the inside of Takao's place. ^^; XDD It saves space, if anything.

...oh geez. I'm seeing Max getting all hyper over having recieved a package of chocolates or some such 'gift' from his mom. *coughMiacough*

I hope so. I'm working with a limited color palette, since the apartment's already painted and all.

Has anyone wondered what the other Beyblade characters' rooms looked like? I mean, we saw Kyouju's and Takao's, and we can infer what Max's room looks like since we saw the inside of the house where he lives with his dad. Probably Rei's, too, as we know what kind of houses those of the White Tiger tribe live in.

Heh. Thought I'd ask, since I'd opened the topic of apartments and layouts and such... XD;;
