Blitzer, and anyone else who's on Gaia and part of the Beyblade Guild (yeah, that's the name of the guild), you probably already know this.

Anyway... I've probably already mentioned that I'm in 2nd year college (or university). In AdMU - the school I attend - we have these groups called course blocks, which you get stuck in until your third year. And it just so happened that my blockmates pretty much acted like Beyblade characters, not to mention that we broke up into groups that, gender aside, mimicked the Beyblade teams.

Erm... point of this post. I put up a few dialogues in the Beyblade Guild on Gaia, which I believe highlighted my block's Beyblade-esque moments. Just for fun, identify who's who!

Scene 1
Location: restaurant near school

Nic: Kei! Talk! We barely know anything about you!"

Me: -bored look- I like reading, drawing, and singing; I'm into anime, rarely wear anything aside from black, and I'm learning Japanese. Anything else you need to know?

Phil: Aw, c'mon! What about your favorite food, book, other hobbies aside from those you mentioned?

Me: ...

Waiter: -comes in with two trays and starts handing out the orders- Whose order is this 2-piece burger steak with mashed potato side dish and extra rice?

Angelo: That's mine. -grins and reaches for plate-

Jo: Angelo! That's too much!

Angelo: Hey! I'm a growing boy!

Me: -rubs temple- (muttering) Like we haven't heard that before...

There are a few others - one of which involves a 'Death Glare' - but I'll share them only after interest has been expressed. I wouldn't want to clog up the forum with posts and stuff...

OMG XD you sure seem to have a Beyblade related life... I only have a Beyblade related mind *deadpans* they're in my head every five seconds...

Buuuuut I believe the relation between you + your mates and Beyblade is that you are so much like the Blade Breakers. I would assume that
you = Kai
Nic = Ray (or Max)
Phil = Max (or Ray)
Angelo = Tyson
Jo = Kenny

Somehow like that?

I'm not sure about Nic and Phil though, but if I have to guess only one then I'd say that Nic is Ray and Phil Max... Those two have too much in common >.< (when Max isn't hyper/they aren't battling/etc. ...)

Okee I'll shut up now... XD;;;

Location: classroom, lunchtime, before Filipino class

Phil: Guys, are any of you curious about her at all?

Sam: -looks up from laptop- Who? Kei?

Nic: -nods- Yeah! We've been a block for, what? A semester now, and we know almost nothing about her!

Jo: She's awfully quiet, isn't she?

Angelo: -talking through a mouthful of chicken sandwich- I know! She's just...there.

Me: -leaning against wall, arms crossed- You know, you really should be careful when you talk about other people...

Angelo: :shock:

Kei! It's you!

Nic: How long have you been there?!

Me: -shrugs- Long enough. Angelo, close your mouth, please; battered chicken meat is starting to fall out. -walks to desk and sits down-

LOL XD you so seem like the Blade Breakers... I kind of envy you Kei, your life seems so much more interesting than mine is

Oh, never mind. I'll share it - 'cause its such fun. xD Buuuut... I'll start with my multi-lingual friend. Not only is she fluent in French, Italian, German, Spanish, and Russian, but... she's like Kai, Tala, and Bryan all rolled into one!

And that's on a good day. O___o I've yet to encounter her on a bad day, so here's hoping... >.<

But she's fun to hang with, because she can be pretty quirky if she wants to. In her own way, that is. And, depending on her mood or whatever she read the night before (and a dozen other factors), when I see her in school, she'll just start talking in any of those five languages - without providing translations. There was this one time where she was in the mood to speak Russian. Our conversation went something like...

Location: deserted school corridor, after class

Ruri: -says something in Russian-
Me: Eh? Mou ichido hanashite kudasai. (Eh? Say that again, please)
Ruri: -most likely repeats what she said earlier-
Me: ...wakarimasen. Ne, nan'da iu koto da? Eigo ni'tte kudasai. (...I don't understand. Just what did you say? In English please)
Ruri: -says something different, still in Russian-
Me: Kuso~ Oi, Eigo de hanasu, Ruri. Samonakereba, boku wa Nihongo de hanasukoto o tomenai! (Dammit... Hey Ruri, speak in English already. Otherwise, I won't stop speaking in Japanese)
Ruri: -stops at stairway landing leaning on banister- I just said that my professors are all assholes and that they should go and die. It'd make life easier.
Me: ... Rusha-go o wakarushinaikoto o shitteiru. Soshite... sono dake iwareru ka (You know I don't understand Russian. And...is that all you said?)
Ruri: :tala:

...speak in Japanese without translating again, and I'll -
Me: What? Smack me one upside the head?
Ruri: Oh, I'll do more than that... - raises kali sticks menacingly-

-ahem- Yeah, that's typically what happens when we get together. You'd think we were fighting for real, given the voice tones we use. xP

And Blitzer, you mentioned my siblings, so... well, here's the list, then.

Kai - twin; acts like a more serious Mizuhara Max; owns a Driger S, F, and V2
Rei - younger sister; acts like Rei; owns a Draciel F and V, and G
Raul - baby brother; similar to Kenny since he's always tinkering with our Beyblades; owns Dragoon S, F, and a modified Seaborg 2

(Heh...Kai uses Driger - whut?)

Hamano-chan, that whole guess who's who thing was just for fun. My blockmates have weird personalities, always switching from one Beyblade character to another depending on their moods and stuff... except for three people, who are about the only ones I can more or less tolerate out of the entire group. But one of them, Tracey, migrated to Canada, so its just the three of us now: Bertha, Sara, and I.

Anyone remember that scene where Kai is leading Spencer and Bryan somewhere? Thing is, going from one class to the other, Bertha, Sara and I usually end up walking like that (according to height xD). And, when Tracey was still here, standing together, we'd be something like this :lol:

...trust me, though; even though my life seems interesting, I wouldn't recommend living it. Not when it entails Boris Balkov as one of your professors. :kaib:

Lend us half of your life Kei? Would still be ten times more interesting than now... *sighs* I should be doing something for school at the moment but I don't want to... Instead I want to write my fanfics >.< *ahem* back to the subject... uuuuh... don't have anything else to say...

I was supposed to do something for school, too, but... I forgot what it was, exactly. :sweat:

Doesn't really matter which half... it still seems to be pretty much BB-like :X

Oh I do remember what I'm supposed to do... The hand-in should've been around Christmas, but not many got it finished then... So the hand-in should have been after holidays. Well, it's still after holidays but the term is about to end so I have to do it >.< for tomorrow ._.

Erm...moving on.

In BB's thread 'Has Anyone Noticed?', I mentioned something about my grandmother and her opinion on the subjects I'm taking. She said that they're pretty much 'useless folly' and 'a waste of time'. Which subjects is she talking about?

Anything and everything to do with my majors.

She wants Kai-otouto and me to take over the family business once we 'come of age' - which is in 3 years! O_O Same thing happened with Otoosan, only it was Grandfather who had him take over the family business... but Otoosan quit, so to speak. =P Fortunately for me and my twin, Otoosan somehow convinced Grandmother not to interfere when we chose our majors. *phew*

This is probably the only thing I don't like about my 'BB-like' existence...

Ah... Poor you Kei

I don't really have grandparents, only one Grandpa. He is so old that I haven't really ever known how to act in his presence, as a little kiddo I remember I used to coax him into playing something with me but after those times... Just so... FORMAL, yuck

I DO like him (he is one of the very few family members I like), it's just that we don't have so much in common... Plus he's always been supporting us in our choises in life. For him it's always been up to me or mom (or her sisters) what we'll do, unless it's illegal.

Raul-chan is the only one who never knew Grandfather, who died back when Kai and I were in 2nd grade. But seeing the little kid apparently reminds my dad and aunts of the ol' guy. I knew there was some resemblance between the two, but when I saw a childhood photo of grandfather - :shock:

I thought I was looking at a slightly older Raul-chan! o.o

Thing is...........Grandfather kind of looked like Soichirou/Voltaire, with a thinner face and shorter hair (build is pretty much the same, though). He didn't act like the old goat, but still... O____o I'm hoping my bro doesn't grow his hair out when he reaches thirty or something... >.>

And I know what you mean by formal. Grandmother's like that, too. :mad:

We're all pretty much used to it by now, though. And please don't pity me or Kai-otouto; it comes with being the eldest, so I guess we were expecting something of the sort ever since we hit our teens.

I found what seems to be a secret passage in the school gym earlier today; couldn't check it out 'cause of all the people. But I will explore it later after my evening class (ugh). Wonder where it leads...?
